How it works

Know the roads before test day

Your examiner can take you anywhere near the centre. Road Rehearsal lets you practise those exact streets: the junctions, roundabouts, crossings and speed limits you're likely to meet.

FAQ

Questions

Are these the official DVSA test routes?

No. DVSA doesn't publish test routes, and examiners can use any suitable roads near the centre. Road Rehearsal builds practice routes from the real roads around each centre, so you practise the local junctions, roundabouts and speed limits. Road Rehearsal is independent and not affiliated with DVSA.

Can this replace driving lessons?

No. It's for practising what to do and where, between lessons. You still need real driving experience with an approved driving instructor or a qualified supervisor.

Do I need an account?

No. When you pay, your pass is saved in your browser. To use it on another device, use Restore a purchase with the email you paid with and the last four digits of your card.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Play route 1 free first to check it runs well on your device. If something goes wrong after you've paid, email hello@roadrehearsal.co.uk and we'll sort it out.

I'm a driving instructor. Can my pupils use it?
